Referral Details

People can self-refer for counselling by calling our reception phone number on 01275 810879 or emailing reception@wellspringcounselling.org.uk   You do not need to be referred to us by a GP but doctors may sometimes signpost patients to us.

When you contact us you will be sent a short form to complete so that we can arrange for you to have an initial 30-50 minute assessment.  This helps us find out what help you need and for you to find out if we are the right organisation to help you.

After this you will be put on a short waiting list to see a counsellor in a location convenient to you.  You will be offered 6-12 sessions initially.  Everyone is different; some people need more, some less.
