What is MAMMA?
MAMMA (Mothers Advocating Mother’s Milk Association) is a breastfeeding peer support group for Portishead, Pill and surrounding areas. The group was established by local mums and community midwives, in 2005.
What are Peer Supporters?
We are all local volunteer mums who have trained to be peer supporters. Peer supporters just mean mums helping mums. Peer supporters who run our cafe are all DBS checked, and have completed accredited training.
