Sailability, Paddleability, & Powerability

Saturday Sessions - Sailaing, Powerboat Trips and Paddling

These sessions are open to anyone with any form of disability or additional support need, as well as their friends, family and carers.

Sessions are £6 per participant (minimum suggested donation) carers go free. Family members and friends are able to join in, however priority must be given to those with a disability – donation for their attendance is welcomed! We offer Sailing, Powerboat River Trips and Paddling.

We have a range of different boats for a varitey of different needs and style of sailing. We have Access boats which are perfect for individuals with physical disabilties as the boat is designed to have all controls within reach from the seating position and the boom goes over their head, prevenitng participants from having to move across the boat. We also hae larger boats which are perfect for small groups or participants with learning disabilities.

We also offer wheelchair accessible powerboat trips, allowing wheelchair users to easily come aboard and see bristol from the water. There will be two trips: 10:30 and 11:30. Please ensure you arrive 15 minutes before the boat trip as the boat cannot wait.

We are now offering paddling every week. We have a range of differnt paddling vessels, allowing indviduals to paddle as a group or indivdually. Our Bellboat and Katakanu is perfect for indviduals  with learning disabilites or who want to paddle with their family/friends. We have candian Cnaoes and a kayak with stbalisers fro participsnts with difficulty balancing.
