Youth services at Yatton Methodist Church

Youth & Community Worker Niccy Lockhart is responsible for the youth work (11-18’s) of the church and is also involved in Parent and Toddlers, joint youth services, promotion of local young people’s news and activities, and various youth projects around the village (such as Yatton Youth Club). On an ad hoc basis she runs outings and events such as cinema trips, camping, Soul Survivor, sleep overs, coffee n chat, trips to other churches, pizza and video nights and fundraising to name but a few.

Below are a list of the activities we hold here at the Church. For further information please see our Website.

Wednesday nights from 7.30pm till 9.00pm for school years 7 upwards.

We enjoy a great many activities, including canoeing, ten pin bowling, and weekend camps away. For some of these, we have joined with other Crusader groups from the west of England, and other areas too. We have taken part in the area MAD day (Multi-Activity Day), which included swimming, arts & crafts, Unihoc and football.

Open Doors

There are a number of groups which meet during the week in people’s homes, usually in the evenings. These groups help us to grow in our faith and to share our lives together, by studying the Bible, praying and taking together. They’re good fun, refreshments are always available and there is always a warm welcome on a ‘come along and see’ basis.
