Children's Physiotherapy Service

e are a team of Physiotherapists covering North Somerset, based at Drove Road Child Development Centre (CDC) in W-S-M.

We are part of the Specialist Community Children's Service team.  Our small team of Chartered Physiotherapists and Physiotherapy Technician specialise in the assessment and treatment of children from birth through full time education where the child has a significant motor delay or difficulty affecting physical ability and function. We work closely with our collegues from other agencies.

Meetings

We take part in CDC meetings, multi-agency meetings and school reviews to try to co-ordinate the approach for the child and family where appropriate.

Discharge

The child will be discharged when a treatment package is established or when Physiotherapy is no longer felt to be  beneficial.
