Guidance for parents, carers and young people

We are working in conjunction with parents, carers and young people in North Somerset to develop accessible, easy to read guidance explaining how the SEND system works. You can view and download these guides from the Local Offer website.

Information Advice and Assistance

We commission Supportive Parents (SENDIAS) to provide North Somerset's free, confidential and impartial information, Advice and Support Services for parents, children and young people who have SEND up to age 25.  Please see their latest video's:

North Somerset Parent Carers Working together represent parents and families across North Somerset and work with us to improve services for children and young people.

Bridging the Gap Together provides a range of workshops for parents/carers of children and young people with complex needs or disabilities

IPSEA are a national independant charity offering advice for parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
